Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours darkly ruddy with a slight beige head. Aroma is malty with some light smoke. Med body. Flavor is smoke with roasted malt. Perhaps a touch nutty. It’s not bitter, and it’s not dry, but it’s not really excessively malty. I think there’s enough hop in it to make this a cliffhanger. Getting bitterer and drier as I type. Tasty stuff.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours golden amber with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit visited by a cat. It is a really lush, sort of swampy smell. Med + body. Flavor starts with a little caramel, rushed by mixed fruit, followed by citrus zest and any number of other things. No apparent heat - except perhaps down the gullet. Hop is coating my tongue, and I think there’s a smooth hop burn building. Damn but this is really good stuff. Not NW harsh - this is quite refined - but it’s as hoppy as NW IMHO.

Tap at The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours translucent gold with a creamy white head. Aroma seems mixed citrus/pine. Med body. Flavor has the above, plus a suggestion of berry. Finishes more citrus than anything, but for some reason it’s beginning to seem a bit earthy. Nice malt background. Seems to be a busy ale. Nice bitter finish.

22 oz. bottle, sent from Neillago (thanks a lot, Neil), pours a hazy golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out loads of resinous hops, pine, and some dry caramel malt. Flavour is uber dry ad hoppy, with loads of dry pine, floral hops, and just enough crackery malt to back. Super dry and refreshing, with a lingering hoppy astringency. Bitter and dry, just how I love my IIPAs. Excellent.

On tap. Very murky yellow hued body with a white head that fades. Aromas are estery, pear, apricot, light tannin, musty, mild phenol, yeasty, light cherry, a touch grainy. Flavors are spicy, easy to drink, medium malt, apple, musty yeast, medium cherry. Decent saison, but the cherry is really a faint background note. Light clove, leather and earthiness. Medium bodied, medium to lightly lively carbonation. Decent.

Draft - Perfumy and pine on he nose. Clear copper with a great persistent head. Flowery, slight grapefruit and a great malt backbone to balance. More of an east coast style. Finishes with a nice mellow grapefruit. Super IPA.

I left my wallet where? 22oz bomber courtesy of womencantsail. It pours with a nearly clear copper body and gold hues supporting a thin off white head. The aroma offers up malt sweetened tangerine and clementine orange as well as a touch of sweet dank onions. The taste has spicy onion and shallot dank earthy hop notes as well as malt sweetened citrus hops that lean toward grapefruit and tangerine. Yes, this has a nice mix of hops. Behind those notes is a mild sweet malt and almost a caramel malt like note. Tasty IPA.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Big white wine and tropical fruit aroma. White wine and tropical fruit flavor with light grapefruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and white wine linger with light wheat.
