Bomber from Bine & Vine. 7.1% ABV Pours light copper with a white head. Aroma is floral and South Pacific fruits (or melon) with some indications of dankness. I call dank. Also lots of melon (or mango?), one of the green flesh melons? With some earth and resin, lots of fruit/floral. Lots of flavors. Some hop burn. Finishing lush, fruity, pretty dry, very hoppy, and decently bitter. Good stuff.

Solid aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Clear yellow with white head that leaves a dusting across the top and patterns well down the glass. Flavor is one-dimensional bitterness. Thinnish mouthfeel.

Enjoyed at gabf 2014. It pours with a clear gold body that supports an off white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up a bit of malts and a light degree of hops that are grassy, a bit of pine, some floral and a dash of lime peel. The taste begins with an even hoppiness that’s pine and floral and grassy all at once where there’s a good bit of hop bitterness going on. To midway a little bit of malts rise up to meet the bitter hops and mild flavor hoppiness and take this into the finish. Interesting take where it isn’t so much juicy but rather resiny with a decent malt base.

Enjoyed at gabf 2014. It pours with a, wow, brilliant shiny clear gold body that supports a light tan head. The aroma is mild with a bit of sweet malts and spicy onion as well as something else going on in the background that seems a little berry like or juniper maybe. Interesting. The taste is smooth and hoppy offering up a pleasing mix of malts and spicy to grassy to a faint lemon grass hoppiness. Wow, smooth drinkable and plenty of deep hoppiness going on above the malt backbone to make me happy.

Sample at GABF 10/04/2014, thanks to my BIL for assistance with note-taking. Hazy bright yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that evaporates quickly. Spotty lace. Citrus, hops and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of grassy hops, grapefruit and biscuit malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

A lightly hazed reddish amber ale with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, treacle, OK. In mouth, a nice treacle almost vinous malt with grassy floral hops, nutty notes, nice. Cask Days 2014.
