Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of Enjoyit. Pours a cloudy opaque amber with a creamy, lacing off-white head. Lovely hoppy aroma, but in spite of the supposedly American hop bill it somehow manages to smell more grassy and German. Solid malt base, a sweet fruitiness and then a massive dose of hops leaving a very decent and mouthdrying hop bite. Top fermented but somehow comes out as a hoppy - very hoppy - Bock. But a pleasant surprise indeed. Thanks Svenne! 210112

Bottle, many thanks to Quack-Duck. Hazy dark golden color with huge, quick disappearing white head. Aroma of pears, lemon, tropical fruits. Taste, mango, pineapple, lemon, honey, floral hops. Nice bitter floral hops finish. Alcohol is well present. Good.

20/11 0.5 l bottle courtesy of ogivlado, thanks! It poured hazy, darker copper body with medium sized head. Banana, pear, caramel and cloying aroma. Mixed wheat and dark malt flavors, including caramel, coffee with milk, pear, banana. Wasn’t spicy. Fuller body with long, slightly sour wheat finish. Quite interesting, but nothing special for the style indeed.

Bottled 500ml. -from Bier Imperium, Vienna. Bottle No.01734.2 Dark orange/amber coloured, small to medium sized off-white head, odd nose (overripe pear). Sweet malty, caramel and that not so pleasant overripe pear with watery finish. Didn’t like it.

Another one of Ogi’s, shared with heavy and me. Poured a very dark misty amber body with a slightly off white head. Dusty nose, müsli, overripe bananas. Malty sweet taste, sourish, very light banana, dust, stale, very light pear. Humm. Flashy bottle, flashy looks, "matured on beechwood" and yet ends up being, yeah, slightly different than the norm, but hardly anything special.

Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duckstone!): Hazy, light amber coloured, big - slowly collapsing - loose and lacy off-white head, slight hoppy and toasty nose, some wood (?) plus a tinge of perfume detectable; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; lingering dryish hoppy and malty finish with a mild alcohol-burn. Not bad, but a bit too tame......

(bottle, with thanks to Quack-Duck) Hazy, amber coloured hue with UFOs and big but collapsing off-white foamy head. Yeasty, slightly sourish fruity and minimally resiny hoppy aroma with hints of cara-malt and a delicately perfumed/soapy touch. Moderately bitter flavour, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Yeasty, cara-malty base with fruity and slightly piney hops; mildly bitter and fruity hoppy finish with resiny notes and a tinge of acidity. Not the perfect IPA but a nice try. 31.X.11
