500ml bottle from Morrisons, Eastbourne. Poured a hazy medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy, light woody hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, dry, mineral, earthy, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Rich flavours, toffee, toasted notes, dates, malts, dark fruits. Haven't had an Adnams in ages.

500ml bottle. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of orange peel/oils, slightly perfumed, sweet malts. Taste is quite citrusy, orange, sweet biscuity malts, a little marmalade, caramel, light piney bitterness which it could do with more of. Light-medium bodied. Surprisingly not too bad, and probably even 'good' considering it's Adnams.
Disappointing to see Adnams resort to misleading names though (this obviously is no DIPA) and why not just use the very common 'DDH' abbreviation? Reckon this would've done really well if they'd brewed it 15 years ago, but these days any old supermarket IPA is going to be better or at least on par with this.

Can. Nose is citrus, lightly malt. Taste is light malt, leading to a very lemony, soapy lemon finish. Dry ending. Sticky Mouthfeel.

Nothing fits together. Bad.
