Cask at the GBBF 2018 day 2 08/08/2018. A Cleer golden coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is subdued, little farty, sweaty hop, faint grass. Flavour is composed of semi sweet nutty malts, earthy grains, sweaty lemon rind, grassy green hop. Palate is oily, decent condition, ok.

Cask at the Red House, Stourbridge. Pours bright gold with a medium head. Aroma is straw and lemon. Taste sherbet lemon to start and a straw finish.

ABV: 4.5%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light hoppy, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, fruity hops, pale malt, light fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180808]

GBBF Day 2. Cask. Bright clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, modest fine carbonation. Thin malts, dry, mild grain. Insipid citrus. Dry finish. Waste of El.Dorado hops.

Cask at The Welly. It pours clear deep mahogany brown with a thick, foamy beige head. The aroma is earthy, toasted nut, leathery, spice, dried leaves, twig, dirt and rivita. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, earthy, wood, leather, bark, tannin, black tea, spice, toasted nut, bit of treacle and brown bread weigh a drying finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Brilliant condition makes this beer shine. A quality and flavourful mild ale. Tasty.

Cask at the Wellington. A clear golden coloured pour with a sticky white head. Aroma is spicy hop, washy pale grains, nutty. Flavour is composed of pale grains, straw, pencil shavings, grassy hop. Palate is crisp, and light, spicy.

Cask at the joint stock.a jet black coloured pour with a loose tan head. Aroma is black liquorice, wood, roast. Flavour is black malts, liquorice, bark, woody, salty roast, bitter roast. Palate is black roast, lowish carbonation. Not bad.
