bottle at home ... dark black ... massive tan foam... that first tastes metalic,, then briefly bitter roast then long metalic ... dark chocolate roast malt nose .. rich chocolate roast ... dark malts ... biter chocolate ... little dusty and light metalic linger ... over all not to bad

Cask at the Birmingham CAMRA Beer Festival 2015. Poured a murky medium brown with a frothy off white head. The aroma is grassy hop, grain. The flavour is moderate bitter with a sweet malt, light peppermint hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Gravity cask at the Birmingham CAMRA Beer Festival 2015. Poured a clear dark brown with a bubbly off white head. The aroma is light grassy hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light grass, floral hop bitter, light dry coffee palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Didn’t get the mocha but an all round great beer.

Cask at the Birmingham CAMRA Beer Festival 2015. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head. The flavour is light bitter with a smooth creamy caramel yeast, light sugary sweet palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. A little sweet but rather good!
