can from a supermarket that probably bought it from metro. can design similar, but not identical to the prior brewery, now states "premium quality beer" and the "original" has disappeared. picture and text is similar. I think metro re-used the can design partly for this new beer, from another brewer. clear yellow, very fast dissapating head. aroma is sweet malts and a hint of cheap euro hops. flavor (when cold) is surprisingly nice, the malts are there, a bit sweet, and the hoppy balance is there too, not much "vomit taste". aftertaste is a bit bitter fruit peel herbal and with notes of alcohol though. you will notice some caramelly metallic action as you go through the can. I would put this in the same category of the danish royal pils. (which in my book is the high end of discount lagers)

33cl can found in a supermarket in rethymno, crete. giant smooth, white head. light yellow color. light malty,s lightly citrussy aroma. flavor is sweet, mild, diluted, almost no bitterness. but it tastes okay.

Sampled from 0.5 l can from local ’real’, best before January 2018. Clear, golden yellow with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, grainy and a bit grassy aroma of grains and a bit of straw. Slightly bitter, grainy and a little grassy taste of grains, straw and cardboard, followed by a short, slightly bitter, rather dry, dusty, astringent finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Drinkable, quite good for that price.

Canned, 500 ml, from gas station. Shared with JFK10000. Pours clear yellow, medium short lasting white head. Malty, corny, sweet, cardboard, some bread. Light bodied.

Can (huge thanks Ivanec for the sample!). Now says it’s brewed for real. Eh. Anyway, yellow-golden body, white head. Malty, flowery aroma, slightly herbal. Not bad really. Creamy light sweet taste, herbal, slightly flowery, light. This is completely OK for what I’m assuming is a dirt cheap supermarket lager, better than most big brands.

Can from a random gas station on the A1 highway. Erm, OK. Golden body, fizzy carbonation, intense, like sparkling wine at first, but quickly subsides, big white head that disappears quickly too. Sweet dull wort aroma, cornflakes, sticky. Flat empty body, sugary touch to the vague wort notes, soapy, perfumey, raw honey but not cloyingly sweet, it’s too watery to be that. Herbal touch. Er, not offensive, but I wouldn’t drink this. You can find more offensive alcohol-free stuff really. And, on the other hand, this was way cheaper even than water at the gas station, so, er, if you’re bored of drinking tap water?
