Can from a random gas station on the A1 highway. Erm, OK. Golden body, fizzy carbonation, intense, like sparkling wine at first, but quickly subsides, big white head that disappears quickly too. Sweet dull wort aroma, cornflakes, sticky. Flat empty body, sugary touch to the vague wort notes, soapy, perfumey, raw honey but not cloyingly sweet, it’s too watery to be that. Herbal touch. Er, not offensive, but I wouldn’t drink this. You can find more offensive alcohol-free stuff really. And, on the other hand, this was way cheaper even than water at the gas station, so, er, if you’re bored of drinking tap water?

Can sourced in Dryanovo, Bulgaria. Pours totally clear gold with a frothy, white head. Decent biscuits in the nose, faint lemony notes, nips of cereal. Light sweet flavour with notes of pale grains, more lemony aspect, hay. Light hodiednwith average carbonation. A little vland in thefinish, just more dry cereal, grains, straw. So so.

Caña en Festival cerveza Avilés 11..08..2016. (r64). Color amarillento dorado espuma blanca. Sabores maltosos y cereales ligeros. Cuerpo medio ligero algo aguado. Normal.

Canned 500ml. -from gas station on highway Rijeka-Zagreb. Pale golden coloured, small white head, usual n/a nose. Sweetish malty, dusty grainy, touch of cardboard and some sweetness in the finish. Drinkable.

Canned 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him, kajser27 and franski. Pale golden coloured, small white head, lively carbonation, corn in the nose. Light bready, wet corn with some acidic notes, touch of cardboard and short watery finish. Crap as usual.

Clear, pale golden colored, fizzy, small non lasting head. Aroma is of some malt and grain, more corn, some sulphur. Taste is light sweet malt and more corn, bit of honey notes, light+ grassy bitterness, some butter. Light bodied, lively- carbonation, watery. Overall hollowness.

Can, surprise find at a Plus store in Belišće, Croatia - still got the touch of finding random rare stuff in places where one would least expect them, heh. :) Shared with ogivlado, kajser and franski. Golden body, tiny white head. Sourish aroma, appley, bread, yeast, vaguely herbal and wholly empty. Oh well. Empty taste... completely empty taste. Vague strange herbal note, vague tart touch, vague sweet touch. Insanely empty. Coloured water.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 5D). Can 50 cl - Batch 15/151. AROMA: very low grainy aroma with slight cardboard notes. no hop aroma discernible. APPEARANCE: gold color and translucent. medium creamy white head with low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma, with low grainy notes and faint cardboard. medium-low bitterness with an almost dry and slight bitter finish and aftertaste. PALATE: medium-low body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a diluted bulk german pils with low malt and hop presence.
