Description

Bottle. NIce chocolate malt aroma. Medium brown color - clear with small head. A very complex flavor for a dunkel - smoky and creamy chocoloate malt flavor. Nice body. A very nice dunkel.

Bottle. Toffee/banana aroma. Caramel color with medium head but completely clear. Watery malt - primary taste of toffee with only the slightest hint of banana. Way too weak for a hefe with an unusual taste.

Bottle. A very strong barley malt aroma - initially smelled skunked but mellowed with sitting. Light yellow color with small head. A nice smooth malt flavor with slight flowery hops. Very tasty. Good flavor - just don’t let the aroma get to you.

Pours a deep red and a small tan head. Aroma is small and very sweet. Flavor is malty and woody with some notes of brown sugar. Good but not the best of its kind but it is quite tasty.

Darkness warshed over The Dude. This beer is dark with hints of red. Flavor is quite complex. Starts with dark chocolate, follows with cherries, and finishes with a zap of vanilla extract. Only complaint is that it ends up a little too sweet. Great beer though!

I had never tried this one so I grabbed it out of curiosity. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very pale straw color with a large white head that quickly faded. The aroma was sweet, sugary and spicy with an element that could only be described as artificial grape scent. The flavor was sweet, had a hint of malt and again was dominated by an artificial grape flavor. This beer really tasted more like a grape soda. Very bizarre.
