(33 cl bottle) Clear golden color, huge lasting fluffy white head. Big hiss of co2 when opened, also foaming a lot when poured. Sweet, fruity, raspberry, mango and acidic scent. Sweet, fruity, spicy and alcohol taste. Spritzy mouthfeel. Warming alcohol feeling and strong alcohol aftertaste. Medium bitterness.

bottle, ca. 6 years old. Dark reddish-brown colour, no head. Fruity and malty, hints of wild berries and roasted malt.

Bottle pours a slightly hazy light redish brown witha huge foamy beige head. Clumpy heavy lacing. Aroma of over ripe apples pitted fruit, and musty earthen notes as well. Flavor is similar. A belgian brown. Some raisons, and a little spiciness. Cinnimon maybe. Intensly carbonated and the alchol is noticeable.

75cl bottle at Chris Shindig. Brown, hazy with beige head. Very toffeeish brune, some decent dryness on end, but quite sweet. Not my kind of thing.

bottle at home ... brown red tinge ... ovaltine malt and fruit malts with some citrus nose ... Huge juicy fruity malts, quite sweet little cherry 4.3 bottle at RBESG 2011 Grand Tasting ...copper brown ... soft balsmic dark fruit nose ... light dasrk hop ... dark fruits ... soft toffee malt 3.2 man this has to be the biggest change ive seen in a score. I want to try this again

Bottle. Brown beer with a huge light tan head. Malty, yeasty, fig/plum aroma. Malty, earthy, yeasty flavor with backing plum. Medium body. LIngering yeast, malt, and slight soap with sweet grain. Dry finish. Missing something to bring it all together - maybe just needs some aging.

Bottle. Ruby color with a nice cream colored head. Malty, dark fruit aroma with some earthiness. Not as strong as I would have liked. Rich malt flavor with some dark fruit and yeast. Alcohol slightly noticeable. Sme sweetness, but mostly a dry finish with lingering caramel malt and spice. Finish isn’t as rich as I’d like. Medium body, Lacks some complexity to make it great.

Bottle at the Hopdevil. It looks impressive. Extremely thick, ccreamy off-white head on top of a very dark red body. Lovely. The nose is very faint, bit vinuous, bit malty. The taste is, however, quite balanced and pleaasant. Malt, some plums, some raisins. Quite hoppy for a trappist... the tangy hopiness holds the end finish the aftertaste. Nice despite the lack of complexity, but I still don’t like dubbels much...
