On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - murky plum colour, unsurprisingly. Off white head. Nose - plum and apple. Light candied citrus note. Taste - edge of funk and tart followed by tart plum. Palate - medium bodied and tart with good length. Overall - has there been an accidental second fermentation here with the yeast on the fruit. Getting towards Brett. Is this intended by the brewer.

On cask at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - copper and fairly clear. Attractive white head. Nose - brown sugar, ginger spice. Jamaica cake. Taste - more cake and spice. Rum and raisin. Palate - close to medium bodied despite low ABV. Roasty finish. Overall - good stuff.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Just realised this is supposed to be a wour saison. Appearance - like dish water. Very light but still hazy yellow to brown. Nose - weird like cider and pickled onion. Taste - apple cider again. Palate - tangy and sour, close to medium bodied. Overall - very like cider.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - golden and clear. Thin head. Nose - bitter salad, green pepper and bread. Taste - biscuit and green herb. Palate - light bodied, good bitterness. Overall - good.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - opaque black. Beige head. Nose - funk and spice with chocolate and caramel in the background. Taste - funk, liquorice and woody tar. Palate - medium bodied, funk and tart middle and finish. Overall - good.
