Associated Venue: Heretic Brewing Company
Established in 2011
We started by sharing a building with another brewery in 2011, but we always brewed our beer ourselves. Within the first six months we realized there wasn’t enough space for two breweries in one building, so we began the search for a new place. By 2013, we had built a new, modern brewery in the wonderful city of Fairfield, California and moved all our operations there, including our new distillery.

Bottle courtesy of Craig and shared at Cropredy ’Fairports Annual Reunion’ Festival, Cropredy, Oxon, Friday 8th August 2014 Pours dark brown with lashings of hazelnut and chocolate on the nose. These two unsurprisingly also combine in the mouth leading to a smooth, sweet beery nutty chocolate spread type of thing going on, the coffee a bit part player in proceedings. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

On tap at Tap East Stratford. clear dark red brown beer. Thin beige head. Some sweetness in the mouth some lime grapefruit hop. Some oxidisation but not much. Bit too much carbonation yet still a little watery in the mouth. Ok. Promises much but not quite delivers on this pouring.
