At Internationales Berliner Bierfestival 2018. Dark reddish/blue with a small head. Not the best of "beers" but an ok juice. Sweetish and artificial with blueberries.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with a thin pure white head, about two centimetres tall. Aroma of crisp grain, some light apples and pears with a dose of lemons and citrus, but a very biscuity, fresh grain scent and a touch of alcohol noticeable. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong biscuity and grassy flavour with a dry hoppy bite showing some subdued alcohol and pungent grain flavours with a touch of yeast and a dry finish of hay and no real complexities. Aftertaste is deep and grainy with a bit of toffee, some alcohol and a dry, quite bitter finish showing some yeast and hay and dry citrus, but more biscuits and malt than anything else. Overall, a nice and dry beer with some nice flavours, but a biscuity bite, showing some light alcohol, but a clean flavour that has some dry and crisp yeast finishes and a touch of alcohol, but fairly clean. I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from GlenRo Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 10-March-2018 for US$1,99 sampled when the Polish Team were defeated by the Offiicals in the FIFA World Cup on 19-June-2018.

Dark brown coloured body with a rich, thick tan head, about two centimetres tall. Aroma of toffee, caramel, pears, light toasted and roasted malt with a touch of peat and mushrooms. Medium-bodied; Strong rich coffee and toffee notes at first with a nice bitterness towards the end with the malt and earthy notes coming through with some nuts as well. Aftertaste is deep with the coffee and roast and a touch of grain and alcohol, but the sweetness and caramelised sugar flavours are by far the strongest. Overall, a nice and robust beer with a good deal of malt, earth, toffee and nuts, but a good rich malt body with a lot of alcohol, but a robust complexity from the sugars and maltiness. Good to sample, and while not even close to the standard Zywiec Porter, a good option in a pinch (meaning you want a Polish Baltic Porter). I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased from GlenRo Spirit Shoppe in Monroe, Connecticut on 10-March-2018 for US$1,99 sampled while Poland plays Senegal in the FIFA World Cup on 19-June-2018 - go POLSKA!

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Malty aroma with perhaps a bit of stone fruits. Taste is also malty, with dark fruits, nuts, burnt brown sugar, licorice notes. Good but not great.

Bottle, as "Witnicki Porter Lubuskie 8.5%", many thanks Beerhunter111! Aroma is chocolate, soy sauce, roasted, a hint of smoke. Taste is soy sauce, roasted, chocolate, earthy, sweet, melasses. Oily mouthfeel with low carbonation. A bit too umami and too sweet, but tasty!
