Its first brewery was opened in Lille in 1986, the "3 Brasseurs" restaurant chain has built its reputation on the quality of its microbrewery as well as its traditional and generous cuisine served in a warm and friendly setting. Since then, this strong regional brand has continued its development in Hauts-de-France, but also nationally and internationally.

Flip top bottle, 0.75 litre as La Noel, Biere ambree de Noel. A present from my mate Marcus, shared with my good lady on 6th January 2026 after putting away the Christmas tree and decorations. Light haze in the dull amber body, red hue to it, off white crust on top. Slight sourness/funky farmyard twist in the make up, mild spices add interest and flavour.

Very cloudy beige blond beer, big solid creamy off-white head, a little stable, somewhat adhesive. Aroma: lovely, lots of tropical fruits, pretty dank hops, a bit resinous, lots of citrus, a bit dusty, slightly chemical after a while. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of citrus, hoppy, grassy, tropical fruits, slightly sweet, good bitterness, lots of grapefruit, nice! Aftertaste: grassy, citrus, hoppy, a bit resinous, grapefruit, zesty, pleasant stuff!

Clear yellow gold beer, small creamy white head, a little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: yeasty, lots of ripe banana, spicy, quite some coriander, a bit malty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very sweet start, coriander, banana, sugary, gentle bitterness, a little soapy, floral, biscuit malts, a hint of vanilla. Aftertaste: gentle bitterness, a bit grassy, yeasty, some banana, grains, slightly soapy, floral finish, meh. Ok I guess.

Clear bright red to almost ruby coloured beer, small creamy off-white head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: a little malty, very weird, has practically no smell. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: very sweet and sugary start, slightly acidic, cherry flavoured candy, a bitter touch, meh. Aftertaste: sweet and sugary, somewhat sourish again, weird, a bit chemical, bitter touch again, I don’t like it.

Pretty cloudy light yellowish beige beer, big solid creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of banana, yeasty, bubble gum, a bit floral, ok. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: lots of coriander, a little bitter, fruity touch, some banana, a hint of citrus, bubble gum, some ripe banana. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, coriander, soft acidity, dry, a bit tasty, bubble gum, ok.

Cloudy beige yellow beer, creamy solid white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: nice, good dank hops, tropical fruits, juicy, onions, some marijuna, good! MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, some tropical fruits, mango, papaya, some lychee, orange peel, very soft bitterness, a bit too sweet to my liking. Aftertaste: some citrus, grapefruit, slightly bitter, juicy, sweet, a bit resinous, not bad but not great either.

Clear dark purple brown beer, creamy dense beige head, pretty stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, caramel, soft roast, some chocolate notes. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, lots of chocolate, some caramel, a bit spicy, some cloves, ripe to overripe banana, some caramel, sweet dried fruits as well rounded out by a gentle bitterness. Aftertaste: soft roast, caramel, milk chocolate, a little bitter, spicy, yeasty, banana, cloves.

Robe cuivrée tirant vers l’ambré sombre, surmontée d’une mousse beige aérienne. Nez rond et doux : malt sucré, pointe de poivre, quelques touches fruitées et une note épicée. L’attaque est portée par les malts toastés, une douceur marquée, puis quelques accents d’orange et de muscade. La longueur laisse une amertume légère, des épices mais l'ensemble est trop sucré et pas assez épicé pour une bière de Noël : on pense davantage à un monaco ou à une bière rouge qu’à une véritable bière de saison.
