Säuerlicher Antrunk, der auf einem hefigen und mild herbem Aroma aufbaut. Weiter säuerlich, dieser Ton bleibt konstant und auch bis zum Abgang vorhanden. Andere Aromen sind leider rar, die an sich erfrischende Säuerlichkeit steht so alleine im Raum, der so leer wirkt. Schade! 10/6/7/7/11/7

Mild brotiger Geruch. Sehr dünner Malzantrunk mit hintergründiger Bitterkeit. Im Mittelteil etwas ausgewogener, sehr störend ist die vordergründige Hopfen-Bitterkeit. Diese lässt erst, wenn auch nicht ganz, zum Schluss nach, dennoch ist das Bier wenig harmonischer sondern eher wässriger. Im späten Abgang dann etwas hopfig-malziger. Naja... 11/7/7/8/13/7

Bottle at home, from Paris. Pours a deep, red-brown with a fading head. Malty aroma, some cake and ripe fruits. Very sweet, sugary, prunes and licorice and cherries. Medium in body with fine to average carbonation. Sweet, malty finish, lingering notes of dark fruits. Pretty alright.

At Kolding Ølmesse. Amber with a small white head. Weak aroma of caramel and butterscotch with a touch of almond. Sweet apple and caramel flavour

Small white head. Paleish rosy yellow body with carbonation. Faint vinegary floral aroma. Dry mealy floral strawberry taste. Light body. Mild mouthfeel. Dry mealy aftertaste of nothing, really. Meaningless. (0.33l bottle shared by gr0ve.)

Originally rated December 2008. From the makers of Boris, from France, this tequila flavoured beer pours a golden light yellow colour with a big foamy-cream head, lots of carbonation, nice fluffy lacing and good retention. The aroma is on the lemon-gin side, with lots of citrus. The mouthfeel is not too watery, with just a little stickiness to it. The lemon really shows in the taste as well. There is a touch of bitterness and maybe some honey, but not too sweet. It does have this tequila feel to it. Pretty close to the same quality as their competition, Fischer’s Desperado (tequila beer also from France). Found at the marché Jovi in Hull, Quebec.

Flaske 0,33l. Delt med Rune under rateseanse 2 mar 11. Ekstremt lys. Skinnende hvitt skum. Aroma av malt & krydder. Vassen smak. Litt sprudlende følelse på tunga. Ellers lite.

Dark green 330ml bottle that we bought at Waitrose, Bloomsbury last autumn. Straw-coloured body with a slight haze. Shiny white foam. Perfumed aroma of wheaty malts. Notes of semi-dry, lemony hops in flavour along with sweet malts. Dry, oily palate. An ok lager, a bit above par for the style (tasting session with Finn, Tromsø 02.03.2011).

Bottle. Amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, malt, sugar. Flavour is sweet, caramel, malt, hint of hop, yeast, sugar. Boring beer.

This French organic brew pours a pale yellow colour with a slight haze to it. Its head is white, fluffy and foamy with decent retention and lace. Lots of tiny sediments are floating all around and carbonation is pretty light. Malty smell at first, followed by some hop, and then goes into a corn field. Typical organic taste, which I have never been a fan of, but hard to explain what it is. Still, malty and grassy with a crisp mouthfeel and medium-light bodied. Not bad at all, and not much more (expensive) than the regular Boris (here in Ontario). A pretty refreshing organic lager great for summer.
