Bottle from Only good beer, Budapest. Herbal hops, biscuit, also fruity. Light to medium body. Sweet, biscuit like, some hop presence. Light bitter finish. Not impressed.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Marko (thanks!). Dark golden/amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, fruity hoppy nose. Moderate malty, caramel, fruits and hops with slightly alcoholic notes. Also pretty strong bitterness especially in the finish and aftertaste. Hint of wood. Not the best Hungarian IPA but decent representative of the style for sure is.

Huge, huge thanks Stela for bringing this from Budapest! Dark amber body, slightly misty, medium-big, lasting off white head. Good aroma hop-driven nose, elder and dried peach on top of sweet maltiness, fresh. The taste... isn’t, well... obviously IPA. Yeah, fresh unripe red berries (or should that be green, oh no!), medium, pleasant bitterness, vague mild dry caramel malt. Peachy. Looking at the komlók used, I wouldn’t say they were optimally used, as they insinuate more complexity aromatics-wise than they deliver, but overall this does end up being a quite serviceable hoppy beer, tasty even. On its own merits, disregarding what’s written about it, it merits a higher grade than with it. Still, it’s a pleasant beer without inherent flaws, apart from slightly too obvious alcohol which pops up in the end.

Bottle shared by Dohny at Bratislava Slovak-Austrian RB Tasting, thanks!
Aroma of grapefruit, some pine, biscuit, candy, orange, grass.
Tastes of grapefruit, resin, some pine, orange, some peach, biscuit, honey, grass.
Medium, oily mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bitter, quite resinous, zesty, piney, a bit grassy, fruity.
Good. Nothing special, taste is quite nice, with a resinous hop kick, everything else just average.

Bottle. Aroma lots of diacetyl, fruity hops. Hazy orange colour. Taste is richly fruity, lots of hops flavour, rather restrained bitterness, or too much sweetness. There is also the diacetyl. Drinkable, but falls short of its potential.

0.33l bottle. Aroma of cinnamon, bread, caramel and some butter. Taste of bread, caramel, roasted malts and cherry. Quite sweet and flat (I know it’s a mild, but still). Nothing bad about it, but somehow it’s not my thing.
