Bottle at tasting.
Poured almost clear and golden in color.
Belgian hops and yeast adds spiciness, plesant dryness and bitterness. Maybe bit one dimensional.

Rather hazy, golden, with full head at first. Belgian yeast and molasses aroma. Taste of Belgian yeast and raising, distinct bitterness ending.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, brass colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly yeasty spicy and rather weak, wheaty malty, minimally citrusy fruity aroma, weak hints of white pepper, coriander, mustard seed, a touch of white bread crust, old orange peel, weak phenolic overtones, whiffs of apricot. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty, slightly citrusy fruity, yeasty fruity and minimally yeasty spicy, slightly bitter hoppy, hints of orange peel, a touch of corn flakes, honey, banana, white pepper.
Oily-watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, lively carbonation.
Fairly multifacetted, but all flavours come along with rather earthy character, therefore not overly refreshing despite rather lievely carbonation; overall a bit disharmonious, imbalanced - not really convincing.

Backlog September 2011. Slightly unclear amber body under a fine, dense beige head. Aroma has malt, brown sugar, caramel and spicy notes. Taste is sweet with a pleasant malt flavor, some caramel, spicy, dry fruit and modest bitterness. Medium body with an average aftertaste. Quite nice, well made and smooth without any wow factor.

Pours deep, hazy golden with a dense head. Aroma is Belgian yeast, dried orange peels and meringue. Flavour is Belgian yeast, pine needles and grape fruit. Long, hoppy bitterness. Tastes like a dry-hopped Saison.

0.33l bottle(s) at Pivska Školica 2025. Clear golden body, thick white head. Green apple and light citric, corianderish touches in the aroma, with a soft malty undertone. Apple touches, soft light floral notes, honeyish malty backbone, light spicy phenolic and herbal touches by the finish. Meaty-yeasty signs of autolysis at the finish bringing it down. Questionably malty profile, not the most spot on of yeasty profiles, but hey, I guess the coriander/peel did some okay work... Expected far better to be fully fair.

Pours a quite hazy deep orange, not too attractive in colour. Nice head though. Average sized, pretty dense, good retention and excellent lacing. Average to high intensity in the aroma: a sugary, slightly doughish soft base, followed by quite strong fruity notes (pear, orange, peach from most to less vivid, all with a candied fruit character to them), light spiciness, a herbal/balsamic hint. Very nice aroma, perhaps not super defined. Taste notes follow the aroma quite closely, with that herbal/balsamic presence a bit more evident in finish/aftertaste. Perhaps slightly less intense than the aroma suggested but still nicely vivid; good depth, fair taste definition. Medium to high sweetness, low to medium bitterness. Has quite some sugary character but it feels overall pretty clean and the finish is definitely dry enough; all in all pretty well balanced. Well hidden alcohol, a light warming hint. Medium to dense body, average, light-bubbled carbonation (probably a bit less less carbonated than usual per style); a nice semi-fulll, quite soft, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Very nice tripel.
