On tap at a pub in Mallaig 27/4/2024. Golden in colour, with a tight, off-white, head. A sweet lager, with ripe malts, a hint of bittering hop and gentle finish. Ok.

[On tap at the Harbour House, Portpatrick.] An amber pour with a thick cream head; biscuity malt aroma; thin in the mouth with a sweet malty taste; and a touch of twiggy bitterness to finish.

Tap at Dock Meat & Bar, Klaipeda, Lithuania. Pours almost black, with very fine cream foam. Aroma is of dark chocolate, cocoa powder. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is medium roasty. Final is fairly long with more roastiness.

660ml bottle. Co Op Woodhouse. Picked this up after spending a whole hour in the dentist’s chair. Who knew having wooden teeth fitted was such a lengthy job. Pretty grim bitterness on top of wet paper malts. Looks good though.
