Bottle from Lidl Supermarket, Sowerby Bridge. Deeper golden with a next to no head. Nicely palatable scotch ale with a light sweetness from the 'whisky' influence, which is probably best in its nose, but there's nothing actually stated in terms of actual 'whisky'. There's a few malts evident too.

Sampled from a can this beer poured a bright golden color with a huge soapy white head. The aroma was phenolic and sweet. The flavor was grainy, phenolic and sweet. Medium length finish. Medium bodied and smooth.

Misty deep golden to amber. Decent white head. Nose: biscuit malt, spicy hop, faint tannins. Light to medium body. Taste: dryish, fairly (spicy) hoppy. Not much oak. Light plus bitterness.

Bottled 330ml. -from Auchan Desenzano. Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, light fruity caramel nose. Sweet malty, light caramel, slightly perfumed floral hops and notes of fruits with bitterish/sweet finish.

0,33 bottle.I was curious after what I had so far. Let's see: Transparent old gold color, loose off-white, medium-lasting foam. Sour lager-like, mostly hoppy aroma, faint alcohol, and a little caramel. Medium-bodied sip, sweet, alcoholic impression. You can feel that it's a punchy stuff. A bit syrupy feeling, but a bitter taste also comes in the finish. Not bad. To me, it looks more like a Belgian ale than an imp. pilsner.

Savanykás lageres, többnyire komlós illat, gyengén az alkoholt is érezni, és egy kis karamelles beütése is van. Közepesen testes korty, édeskés, alkoholos benyomás. Érződik, hogy ütős cucc. Kicsit szirupos érzet, de lecsengésben keserű íz is jön. Nem rossz. Nekem inkább belga ale-re hasonlít, mintsem imp. pilsenire.

Can thanks to Scopey. A clear amber brown coloured pour with a fine off white head. Aroma is simple nutty malts stewed veg, toast, some bread brown. Flavour is composed of simple nutty malts some dried fruits, chalky, baking powder. Palate is semi sweet, dry chalky, highish carbonation. Simple. .

500ml can. Pours a crystal clear gold-yellow with a medium, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that laces. Mild, semi-sweet aroma of grainy malt, bread and grass. Sweet flavour of toasted bready malt, corn, lemon and yeast with a dry, mild, bitter grass finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and soft carbonation.
