Tap at brewpub. Clear amber color, good creamy off-white head. Very berryish aroma... strawberries. Light-bodied to medium-bodied. Flavor has also strawberry and yeast flavors. Finishing to mild spicey hoppyness. I see some fermenting problems here.

Tap at Il Birrificio, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Grain?, some fruits, hints of caramel, hints of hops and malts. Strange grainy mess. Hop profile useless and can’t find much fruitiness. Watery and homebrewish. Some farmhouse elements too.

Tap at Il Birrificio, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy orange with thick small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, some spices, Belgian yeast and malts. Thin, easy but drinkable. Very juicy. Again little bit of homebrewish beer from Il Birrificio. Clean.

Pours hazy yellowish with a smooth head. Aroma of farmyard, yeast, spices and stuffy ripe fruitiness. Taste is stuffy, farmyardy and yeasty with some spices, ripe fruits and hints of berries. Finish is yeasty, spicy and stuffy with hints of ripe fruits and banana. Quite farmyardy but a bit stuffy saison.

Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma of grainy malts, hints of berries, fruits and grass. Taste is smooth, sweetish and slightly grainy malty with hints of grassy hops and berries. Finish is smooth and slightly crisp with hints of hops and grass. A bit unbalanced and a bit strange hop profile.

(Keg at Il Birrificio, 20150714) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, fruitiness and tangerine. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A rather weird brew. Hoppiness and maltines weren’t in balance.

(Keg at Il Birrificio, 20150714) The beer poured yellowish orange and quite cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, mild spiciness and thinly yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, spiciness, mild citricness, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A thin fruity pale ale. The saison characteristics were very mild.

(Keg at Il Birrificio, 20150714) The beer poured amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized, dense, white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The taste was dominated by the bittering hops. All other flavours remained almost hidden underneath the overwhelming bitterness. Not pleasant.
