Clear bright pink beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots and lots of raspberries, jam, pretty nice! MF: lively carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty acidic, lots and lots of raspberries, bit metallic, little bitter, some tannins. Aftertaste: bit sourish, raspberries, more tannins, refreshing, little metallic.

New IPA by Broers, sampled at ZBF 2017. Moussy, snow white head, quickly collapsing in the middle to a bunch of thin ’islands’, golden robe with warm peachy hue, hazy. Aromatically hoppy, even slightly ’dank’ aroma of pink grapefruit, tonic water, rainwater, dried mango, sweet paprika, orange zest, bread. Crisp onset, sharp and minerally carbonation, dry mango and green banana flavours, slick mouthfeel with a cereally, grainy pale malt body. Aromatic and adequately bittering hop finish, resinous and grapefruity, bit tonic water-like, drying. Credible as a modern, even internationally aiming IPA, a tad overcarbonated, but honestly way better than I expected.
