Clear golden beer, very small creamy white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: bit sweet, malty, hoppy touch, some tropical fruits, almonds as well. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, some caramel, fruity hops, orange peel. Aftertaste: more of the same. Decent stuff.

Clear pale blond beer creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: pretty hoppy, tropical fruits, citrus, grapefruit, some pineapple. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty hoppy, citrus, bitter, grapefruit, some pineapple, grassy. Aftertaste: hoppy, bitter, and dry finish, some grains, bit grassy. Decent one!

Flesje thuis gedeeld met familie. Zwart bier met een mooie stevige beige schuimkraag. Aroma is drop-, caramelachtig. Smaak is zuur met in de verte iets fruitigs. Nasmaak is bitter.

almost black colour, medium sized creamy beige head; aroma of milk chocolate, dried plum, some anise, caramel, hints of tangerine and herbal notes; taste of herbal liqueur, chocolate, anise and dried fruity notes as well as some spicy alcohol; great imperial stout!

30/VIII/16 - 33cl bottle from Gents Bierfestival @ home - BB: n/a, a little over one year old (2016-924)
Note: a forgotten gem from last year's beer festival, that got the chance to age a bit. At first I was a little afraid, since it's brewed with mandarina bavaria, that the hop character might have gone completely, but it became a very nice, rich and complex stout, with still some of that fruity character in place. What a treat!
Clear dark brown to black beer, creamy beige solid head, little stable, very adhesive. Aroma: nice roast, fruity as well, orange peel, black chocolate, some alcohol. MF: soft carbon, full body. Taste: ow yeah, some citrus, pretty hoppy start, bit sweet, dark chocolate notes, soft bitterness, nice roasted flavours. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, orange peel, some alcohol, bit sugary, sweet, more of that dark chocolate.

Bottle shared. Very hazy golden with no head. Aroma of big herbs, weeds, nettles, grass, light citrus, yeast and light fruit. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
