Pours black, good, bit dark head. Smell is very roasty, with coffee notes. Taste is round, big on coffee-chocolate bitterness ( black chocolate) with a certain sweetness. Nice body as well, thick, perhaps could use a bit more creamyness, but who am I to complain? Nice carbonation ( see, belgium, it ís possible ) Too easy to drink... especially for what it is, this is a dangerous beer. I like it !

Taste comprises lemon rind, grassy vibes, bread, yeast esters, light spice, grain. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Adequate Belgo affair.

F: creamy pale brown, diminishing to thin film with many bubbles. C: dark brown to dark, opaque. A: roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, liquorice, banana, raisins, dates, dry figs, alcohol, almost like cherries tones, hint of vinous, dark fruits. T: Poperinge beer fest, malty/coffee, chocolate, some dark sweet fruits, caramel, hint of woody, plums, cherries, banana, vanilla, dough, I think interesting and good Belgian RIS.
