Description
In 2013 we brewed beer for the first time in our first brewery in the Amsterdam Pijp. We now make award-winning beers, soft drinks and from beer what is left over we distil gin and gin again. We make everything ourselves, as local as possible and completely organic because that is better for our beer and for the planet. Our breweries are located in the most beautiful places in the middle of Amsterdam. Not at all efficient of course, but all the more fun!

Dense, ever so slightly yellowish head over coldhazed orange-golden beer. Caramel, lightly toasted malts. Rainwater, and some sulphur. Bitterish, quite toasted flavour, bitter-caramelized. Reduction of orangepeelextract. Feels quite carbonated, medium bodied, bit slick. Not quite my taste.

Good; bit fluffy yellow head over hazy dark amber beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Sweetish nose, with bread, toasted malt, parsley. Some hint at hops, too, all the same. Bitter, toasted; light bitterish nuts, leafy hops; just a tad too modest, not enough sparkle. Light to medium bodied, quite slick. Good carbonation. Much better than expected, really. Outstanding in its class.

Medium, reasonably stable dark cream head opaque redbrown beer. Cake, orangerind, fruity hops, rosewater, almonds, generally smelling very sweet. Bit of rainwater too, however; Liquorice galore, to the detriment of near all other flavours. Liquorice, drop, and a bit wry bitterness from the hops. Warming up, getting sweeter without more syrupy - enlough as it is. Well-bodied, very slick. Warming up, gets definitely better and more balanced. Disappointing, certainly at first. Not one to drink chilled, but the sweetness will be there anyway.

Huge amberish-tinted head, quite stable over copper-golden beer, hazy once appropriately shaken. Nose with only very moderate Weizen features, some banana; toast, rainwater, fresh herbs. Not very Weizen at all, rather more like amber lager. Taste is much more Weizen, with banana, clove and wheat obvious. Gets sweeter, fruit/banana warming up. Feels very carbonated indeed, lots of wheatslickness; Pretty good Ur-weizen, the nose excepted.

Very dense head, dirty-cream coloured, over clear metallic copper beer. Grapey hops & cake(bottom) aroma, bit of spilt milk, cheesy hops, rosewater. Generally sweet nose. Bitter, quite resiny flavour. Though no sweetness, quite perceptible maltbacking, bit toasted. Lots of lupuline derivaties, bitter citruspeel. Near astringent, near dry-out effect, harsh-ish. Medium bodied. Nose is unsettling, rest is more in-the-face IPA.

On tap at ACBF’16. Slightly hazy golden amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of honey, malts, light hops, caramel. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, honey, slighlty dry, malty bitterness, light citrus, bitter finish. Medium bodied. Decent.
