Bottle [from trade with heyta] @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Opaque black color, full sized brown head. Aroma is quite unexpected: malts, dark fruits, dark berries, a hint of roast and coffee. Taste malts, dark fruits, dark berries, roast and coffee lightly, light tart. Average body, way too fizzy carbonation. Overall I’d say it’s interesting but in the end disappointing imo.

Refrigerated 75 Cl brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Nice orange with medium white head. Aroma is nice hibiscus and orange, medium/light body, medium carbonation, and thick small-bubble lacing. Taste is orange and hibiscus. The orange and hibiscus meld seamlessly for me, and not too much

750 ml bottle purchased at Gomer’s Stateline in Kansas City, Missouri. Recommended Best before date on bottom of bottle is 06/2017. The pour is a hazed yellow golden with a minimal white head. The aroma is soft lemon citrus zest, some funk and tart acidity in the back. The taste is lemon pineapple bright citrus, the faint funk leather and the soft lactic tartness in the back. The palate is medium bodied, fine active carbonation and a bit of the sour tart funk in the finish. Nicely balanced and refined sour. Easy drinking beer.

750 bottle, courtesy of gregwilsonstl, pours with a slightly hazy deep gold body that supports a nice full light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up yeasty Brett as well as tangerines and some pineapple and mango. The taste is similar with a decent dose of Brett followed quickly by citrus that is mostly juicy hops nuanced by some tropical fruit notes. This has a nice balance between the bitter hops, juicy hop flavor and yeasty Brett notes.
