Draught. Slightly sweet liquorice aroma. Hazy dark brown colour. Small creamy light brown head. Medium mouthfeel. The flavour is nice, a little smoke and a little malt. Creamy and dusty. Low carbonation. Good, roasted liquorice aftertaste.

Draught, as Brewpub Été. Muddy dark orange colour with yeast threads swirling around. Small creamy light brown head. Sour aroma. The flavour is also sour. Not undrinkable, but might be off.

(On tap) Beautiful clear copper colour with a creamy, beige head leaving a neat lacework. Dry, malty aroma and perhaps - if I really try hard - a whiff of wood. Fairly full-bodied with sweetish, malty accents of caramel and then a rather marked bitter hoppiness in the finish. Not much oak to be detected though. 061006

(On tap) Clear, reddish brown with a creamy, off-white head leaving some lacework. A slightly tart malt note in the aroma. Medium-bodied with sweetish, roasted malt and some notes of nuts. Dry, lightly bitter finish. Fairly low carbonation makes this highly drinkable. No way a big beer but pleasant all right. 061006

A deep red beer with a slight hazy underneath a dense orange head. The aroma is sweet with a distinct hop character giving it notes of citrus, but it also has a slight vanilla note. The flavor is quite sweet malty with a strong hop presence right from the start with a lot of citrus and grapefruit, but then a note of caramel grows in strength, soon to be followed by notes of vanilla and oak, the oak lending it a dry woody end that mixes well with the bitterness.

Dark ruby with a lasting off-white head. Malt dominated aroma with a hint of smoke, also some smoke in the flavour. Very thin, but that’s how schwarzbier is, I guess.
