[Draught at Københavnske Øldage] Clear brownish amber, creamy head. Sweet and lightly roasty with medium body. As the hop rate is low, roasty malt dominate the flavours. Licoricelike finish with medium bitterness.

An unclear orange-amber beer with a huge off-white head. The aroma is lovely hoppy - my guess is Cascade or Chinook, which gives it notes of grapefruit and grass, with a soft touch of elderberryflowers mixing in. The flavor starts out quite weak, but then gains in strength with notes of caramel and lots of aroma hops with notes of grass and grapefruit, that evolves into a fine bitter hoppy end, which again resides to a fruity long lasting dry finish. A lovely summer beer.

(On tap) Comes as "Brewpub Été". Slightly hazy, dark amber with a very pretty, creamy almost nitrogen-like, off-white head leaving a very handsome lacework. Good, full body, dominated by malt and a distinct, underlying sweetness. Appears to contain some sort of spice, but I cannot detect which. Pleasant, easy drinking without any real thrills. 010506

The scores goes for the first version of this beer known as 4 Non Blonde: A hazy dark orange beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is lightly spicy and fruity with notes of coriander, oranges, and peaches. The flavor is sweet with a good rather fresh fruityness including notes of peaches and oranges, but also rather spicy which gives it a dryness, and with a caramel note lying in the background. I also find a hint of banana, that gives me associations of a weizenbock.

The second version of this beer was called Été and had a slight twist to the recipe of the first version: A muddy brown beer (which reminds me somewhat of a Fantome beer I had once) underneath a thin beige head. The aroma is very light with hints of yeast and fruit. The flavor is very yeasty and very fruity, but also has hints of vegetables. [6/2/6/3/12]

A deep red beer with a nice lazing light brown head. The aroma is sweet with some slight burnt notes and even lighter notes of plastic. The flavor is pretty much like the aroma. I wonder what gives the plastic notes? some fault? without the plastic notes, I think this would be a really nice Schwarzbier.

Draught at the brewpub
Deep blond color. Excellent hoppy aroma for a Lager, sweet and fruity, flowery. Medium body, some malt, some fruity hoppiness. Dry at the end, when it’s too simple.

Dark mahogany color. Aroma of caramel and toffee. The body is quite weak, with caramel, dry, and unpleasant medicinal touch. Ends with some roasted malt.

(On tap) Very beautiful clear mahogany with a warm, reddish glow. Handsome, creamy, beige head with excellent retention, finally settling cappuchinoish on top of the beer while leaving a neat lacework. Spicy, hoppy nose. Medium body with marked notes of hard roasted malt leaving a slightly burned edge. Lightly hoppy finish. A very delicate and refined Brown Ale - American style. 250206
