Can. Clear brown or deep amber, a cm + of light beige head. Aroma of grapefruit, brown bread, some stone fruit. More clearly nectarine and grapefruit upon a taste, which is not very brown ale -like at all. Dryish with some sticky and spiced breadcrust, plenty of fruity hops and a fairly bitter finish.

From a 440ml can on 3/9/2024. Pours a hazy medium golden with a smallish head. The nose is punchy tropical and citrus fruit. Deivers on all the fruitiness promised on the can - peach being the most prominent but passionfruit and pineapple also there is spades, along with some orange. Has a strong, pithy, lingering bitterness that's fairly intense for the style, but really works well. Silky mouthfeel with moderate to average carbonation. Bold, a bit unusual, and exceptionally good.

Can, 12C. Black with less than a coat of tan head. 3- Aroma is indeed pastry-like - baklava, coffee, roast. Almost syrupy, low carbonation. But then not as sweet as expected with nut skin, bitter roast and firm bitterness keeping things under control. Very rich though - mocha, only hints of cinnamon, roast, vanilla syrup. The bitterness is needed but does start to nag after 150ml - as usual I'd like something like this in a smaller can than 440ml. But still, it's very good.

Can. Almost opaque orange with a cm of white head. Aroma of a melange of citrus - mainly grapefruit - some pineapple, pine needles, light bread. Juicy but remains pretty clean and only moderately sweet. A variety of citrus flavours - juicy orange, blossoms, grapefruit, some leaves. Dryish and bitter finish. Juicy without sacrificing a focussed palate. Really good.

Canned 28/3. Just unclear amber with a loose white head. Slightly shy aroma of kumquat, passionfruit, sticky bread crust, oozy pine. Just medium bodied. Enough breadcrust to support citrus, subtle tropical fruit and creeping pine. Firm bitterness. They've made good IPAs before but not with such finesse.

Can. Pale gold with a good inch of white head. Lean white grapey aroma with light spices, crackers. A bit more body than suggested by the aroma with a touch of breadcrust richness before grapes, some citrus and spicy oak at the bitter finish. Guessed this would be like a Kiwi pils but not really. Original and good.
