Can in a mixed 15-pack from Wegmans. Pale gold color, medium haze, low, thick head. Nose is orange juice, grapefruit juice, light pineapple and passion fruit. Tart, fruity flavor. Slightly dank. Slightly tangy and bitter. Rather thin for the style. More convincing than Citra Fog but barely. ST used to be exciting.

Can in a mixed 15-pack from Wegmans. Pale golden color; slightly hazy, airy head. Funky Citra in the nose, lemon and orange, overripe tropical fruits, slightly dank. Tangy citrus flavor , orange candy, nit of resin and ripe mango. Slightly juicy. Rather thin in texture. Lacks the characteristic smoothness of a hazy IPA. Ok but not thrilling.

Bottle from Wegmans. Pitch black with a tall white head. Huge pumpkin pie nose with chocolate caramel and a hint of maple syrup. Sweet pumpkin pie spice, caramel, chocolate and roasted malts with more maple syrup. Spicy finish of cinnamon and nutmeg. Medium to full body. Quite strong bitterness. Pretty impressive.

Bottle from Trader Joe's. Dark brown porter pour, foamy tan head. The usual pumpkin pie spice nose. Maltiness hits the palate first, then some pumpkin pie spice again. Hits of chocolate roast malt, and warming alcohol.

Clear copper-gold color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lace. Piney hops, citrus and malt in the nose. Medium body with flavors of piney hop, grapefruit and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can for $2.50. Pour is clear pale yellow. Mild fresh, perhaps a tad of citrus, nose. White head fades immediately to nuttin. First taste is like an APA, not sure how this could be called an IPA. It does lack that typical veggie feeling you get with many session IPA. Clean, fresh. In the middle, I'm maybe now getting a little more IPA bitterness. I don't particular;y like IPA, but this one is not bad. I've had many APA that were much more IPA-ish bitter than this. Could use a little more co2. Not as good as North Peak Wanderer, Maumee Bay Summer Stinger, Saranac Session IPA nor Ballast Point Even Keel, but I find it acceptable as a lager lover.

It is a typical American IPA, resinous one, a bit soily and mineral, decent bitterness, a bit watery and malty, 03.01.19, drinking it at Bonfol.

Pours near black and smells of caramel, chocolate, and roast malt aroma. Caramel and chocolate come through nicely in the flavor. Sweet, malty, roasted. Full bodied.
