Fairly hazy copper and bronze coloured body with a thinnish single centimetre tall off-white head that fades quickly. Aroma of super funky fruit notes with pure caster sugar, funk, earth, herbs and way more odd sweet fructose elements, but no hops or bitterness in the nose at all. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong very funky fruit flavours show at first with an odd blueberry, strawberry and artificial cherry flavour with a lot of malt, a small amount of alcohol and a good balance of dryness, but this is way too funky in terms of fruits and malt with too much sugar and definitely not enough of any hops at all. Aftertaste shows some fruit, malt, alcohol and funk, without any hops, no bitterness and no real complexity. Overall, a funky beer for sure and clearly not any APA or IPA, but a fruit beer for sure or perhaps a slightly more sweet amber ale. This was bad, sort of as expected from the name but this was worse than I thought it would be, primarily because it just wasnt anywhere close to a pale. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Giant Food in Alexandria (Potomac Yard), Virginia on 22-October-2020 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 02-November-2020, my son's third birthday!

Fairly clear deep brown coloured body with a ruby tint and a smooth, two centimetre tall tan head that stays afloat for a while. Aroma of pungent grain, toffee, caramelised sugars and a dose of peat towards the end, all with some mellow hoppiness that's noticeable, but not bitter. Medium-bodied; Strong grainy and earthy malt notes dominate with a lot of yeast and rustic bitterness up front that shows some softer sweetness from the caramelised sugars and a slight pit fruit and tobacco note at the end. Aftertaste shows some prunes and grape flavours, but not much of the sweetness -there is a faint bite from the malt and peat, but fairly easy-drinking once you get past the grainy and peat notes at the very beginning. Overall, good enough and about what I expected from this one with a nice toffee and carmel bite at first, but more of a grainy and malt bite than anything else.I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Wegman's in Leesburg, Virginia on 10-October-2020 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 27-October-2020.

Big 19.2oz can pours a clear gold with creamy white head. Nose C hops and soap and pine and malt and grapefruit. Flavor has malt and honey, soap, grapefruit, pine. Finishes full bodied, a little sticky but mostly dry.

Sampled at the facility. Murky yellow with some lacey white head. Doesn't smell like much, honey and maybe some cherry and a little malt. Flavor is both under done and over done which is hard to do. Boozy but maybe juice too, cherry but maybe melon too, herbs but maybe paper too. Medium bodied, feels hot at 6.8% wtf. Nope. 5 2 5 2 7

Pint at the facility in Boston, clear orange with some sudsy white head. Nose has malt and honey and some citrus and a little pepper and pine. Flavor is subdued old school, malt and pine and citrus and soap. It's toned down but fine. Medium bodied, basically dry and lightly bitter. 6 3 6 3 12
