Sample at the brewpub. Pours a dark amber-brown color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Top ring of lacing with strings underneath. Caramel malt in the nose with touches of fruit. Medium body with flavors of roasted malt, caramel, fruit and some hops. The finish is malty with a caramel aftertaste. Above average overall.

Sample at the brewpub. This brew is a dark orange-brown color with a medium thin beige head that diminishes steadily. Top ring of lacing with spots underneath. Aroma of bananas and bready malt. Medium body with flavors of toasted malt, caramel and wheat. More bananas in the flavor too. The finish is fruity and wheaty and there is sweet clove that lingers a bit. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear orange color with a thin off-white head that dissipates quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Grassy hops aroma with some fruity notes. Light and crisp body with flavors of hops, fruit and some grainy malt. The finish is fruity with a mild hops aftertaste. Above average overall.

Enjoyed at the brewpub. Pure black, very faint smoky aroma (I blame my cold). More roasted than smoky, nice dark chocolate notes. I also taste a faint hint of molasses / dark fruit. Pretty good, goes down smooth.

Beer #33 of 42 at GTMW, 8-8-09. Nice dark amber brown, light bubbles, thin head. Catty and pineapple Amarillo hop smell. Amarillo all over the taste, and that’s what hopheads like. What the hell, I love it.

A golden ale with a thin white head. A nice biscuitty malt with a light pungeant c-hops, with some orange pulp. In mouth, good malt backbone, good c-hops, light pink grapefruit. Nice, rich and warming. On tap at brewpub, May 18 2009.

A clear copper ale with a thin moka head. In aroma, a nice caramel malt, light molasses note. In mouth, a rather light schwarzbier, with light sweet caramel, very thin. So-so. On tap at brewpub, May 18 2009.
