Tap at Lakefront. Unique creature. Munich malt gives it some heft, blue corn gives it unique character. Sort of a nutty lager, doesn't really fit in with any style. Fully drinkable, but stylistically odd.

Nitro pour at Lakefront. Nice enough appearance. Sweet, sugary pastry stout mouthfeel. Flavoring is rather undesirable. Minty, but a regular Black IPA is crisper and more enjoyable. Odd undertones from the gross flavoring.

Tap at Drunk Uncle. Sweet, obnoxiously so. Monster chocolate oatmeal notes as well, which are intense but nice enough in a desertif way. Brutally heavy and sweet but the flavors are in line with a classical UK Sweet Stout.

12oz can. Really nice beer. Sweet and creamy. I don't get much Saaz, mostly all about the malts here. Medium bodied, lots of flavor, completely sessionable. Roasty. Quite nice.

12oz can. Pretty solid stuff, filling a nice hole in the market, the local Negro Modelo. Really smooth, easy drinking dark lager. Really much better than anything coming out of Mexico. Not super dark, more of you Munich dark lager. Supremely drinkable. Quite nice.

Caramel color with a huge creamy head that lingered and left great lacing. Vague pumpkin pie spices and a light buttery note. Medium finish and body.

Bottled. Deep reddish brown colour with a big off-white fluffy head. Aroma is toasted malts, some grains, hay, mild herbal and grassy tones. Flavour is biscuity and bready with some caramel, chocolate, toast and mild grassy bitterness to it. OK dark lager.

12oz can. Solid dark lager..not unlike the Chopper..then hit with a rather big cherry tone. This is rather well executed, rich, enjoyable, drinkable, unique. Good stuff.

11.1% ABV. Mild aromas of pumpkin, spice and the barest hint of brandy. Flavors are similar to nose, on the sweet side with a little bitter in the finish. Slightly chewy body with zero head and okay finish. This is the 2022 batch and I don't think it aged too well.

Copper color, brandy aroma. Flavor is brandy with mild pumpkin pie spice. Not too heavy on either flavor, nice balance.
