Can from the LCBO. Clear amber/copper pour, with a medium white head. Aroma is pine resin, slightly bready cereals, hints of grass. Low to medium bitterness, green hops, piney, soft sweetness, light cereals.

Hazy yellow pour, large white head. Big fresh lemon, and melon Aroma, fresh melon rind, honeydew and some nice light malts and yeast with some light funk. Soft mouth feel and a very soft carb. Finish is tart and funky, with more melon, and some citrus pith. Not as sour as I expected but still quite good, and dangerously drinkable for 7.5.

650ml bomber. Hazy orange pour, big white head. Aroma is funk, citrusy, and fruity. Lemon zest, wet hay, wet grass, candied orange peel, and some light earthiness. Nice mouth feel, soft carb. Sour and funkiness abound in the end. Loads of lemony citrus goodness, and some strong funk sourness. Excellent quaff.

This was all over the place. Hot chillies, smoked paprika, then a punch of sweet cinnamon, and an almost cloying caramel malt that i just couldnt shake. Then the chillies linger, and warm all the way down with that sickly sweet caramel. I couldnt finish my glass.

Seems like this is a good intro to sour beers. A good solid tart/sourness, but it’s still mild enough to not be off putting to a newbie. There is a distinct sweetness that balanced the sourness. Some nice floral notes from the hibiscus. The finish is light and a tad dry. Overall refreshing, and quite nice.

Dark brown pour, little off white head, that dissapeared quickly. Aroma is very complex. sour cherries, oak, grassy, dark brown sugar, wet hay, and some light coffee. The flavor is very tart, like lambic tart...........it really gives off a wicked barnyard lambic sourness. This is an incredible beer!

Draft at the new Belgium bar in the denver airport (concourse B). Pours a deep dark purple with small off-white head that soon recedes to a fine ring. The glass they served it in is a teku which really surprised me. The aroma is big and bold with tart red fruits. The taste is pleasantly tart cherries and some mildly bitter berries. The palate is medium and the carbonation is soft. Overall: decent.

Bottle shared at the DCBeer February share. Poured a mostly clear orange color with a very wispy head. Aroma was a bit like cardboard, from the aging, it was a bit of an old beer. Aroma was blackberry and some tartness. Okay? I'm not going to knock it given it was a very old beer.
