Description
Tilford Brewery is a micro-brewery sat in the picturesque village of Tilford, Farnham. Nestled in the heart of the Surrey Hills this brew house shares grounds with The Duke of Cambridge Freehouse.

Founders Mark and Paul share over 40 years of industry experience and will be continuing to hand craft innovative and flavoursome beers in very small batches. Having followed a passion for brewing it is of course helped by being based in such fabulous setting!

Bottle: Poured a caramel brown with a thick khaki head. Aroma is malty, fruity, nutty. Taste is malty, chalky, fruity, bitter.

Golden pour topped with a moderately presented off white head.
Nose is melon, straw, grass, lemon rind.
Taste comprises tangerine, grass, soft malts, straw.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close.

Pint from the cask at The Castle, Farnham. Pours amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of fruits, flora, citrus, hops & biscuit malt. Medium body. Malty light bitter finish. Highly enjoyable

2022 rating moved over. Vague citrus malty aroma. Medium clear gold. Thin microbubbled foam white head. Light bitterness. Grainy. Low key citrus. Followed by sweet sugary malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long astringent finish. Basic but enjoyable enough.

Cask at EBF Summer 2022. Aroma is light and fruity. Clear copper gold. Frothy foamy white head. Light-medium bitter. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long finish. Fruity and refreshing but it's really a Golden Ale innit.

Sample thanks to Grumbo: Poured a coppery color with a white head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity, citrus, malty, floral. Taste is bit soapy, hops bitter, fruity, citrus, drying finish.

17/7/2021. Bottle bought at the brewery. Pours very slightly hazy amber bronze with a frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, earthy, malty, floral, berries. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, above average carbonation.

17/7/2021. Bottle bought at the brewery. Pours clear deep chestnut brown with a frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, nutty, caramel, dried fruits, berries, earthy biscuit notes. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Moderate body, average carbonation. Fruity finish. Quite a tasty drop, maybe more to my English palate than those Danish boys I sent a bottle to.
