Description

33cl bottle. Pours fairly hazy brown, unattractive, with limited fine white foam. Aroma is weak earthy. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderately bitter, with a faint malty sweetness. Final is on the thin side, like body.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear red with a creamy, light pink topping. Medium sweet flavour with notes of berries, a little energy drink vibe, subtle seedy notes. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, more berry character. Not altogether bad.

Lovely looking crystal clear golden beer with a frothy/bubbly white head and a yeasty, bready and slightly fruity aroma (was served with a slice of lemon). Soft and fizzy, notes of banana alongside yeasty malt and a fruity sweetness with a dry finish

Served in a ceramic mug so beyond it's frothy white head it's hard to describe its appearance, althoug after a few sips and the head had dissipated a little it appeared to be of a cloudy gold appearance. Yeasty, bready aroma, semi-sweet malt, some hops with a kick of citrus bitterness and a dry finish

Oh wow, now this was random. 0.33l can purchased from a Pilsen / Plzeň central bus station vending machine for 25 crowns or something the day after Fil's wedding party, while waiting for my Flixbus to show up because i realized I'd never ever had it before. Wow! Clear golden body, white head. Dry grainy, bit worty aroma, spicy, bit stale. Much nicer taste though, bit citric sweetish taste, caramel, mild oxidation. I mean, the taste is tolerable, not too cardboardy, not too sweet. I get why it's everywhere I guess, but I don't see much of a need to purchase more for now.

Day 7 of my 5th annual break from booze, and my first NA beer of the season. Pack of 12 oz bottles left over at the local Monroe liquor shop from the holidays, and I grabbed that last one. Figured if there is a snowflake in the upcoming weekly forecast, it's still the season to be enjoying a holiday themed brew. Not entirely sure what expectations I had from this, but it was definitely different from that. Dark penny copper pour with a decent amount of foam head that lasts. Quite the sweet heavy aroma, with candy red apple, cranberries, and mild spices. Lively carb, this drinks more like a soda than a beer. Soft cola notes on the flavor, with a little ginger, root beer. Sweet candied finish. All things considered, this brew does not taste bad. Definitely a one of a kind beer, NA or not. Might spend the rest of the six pack trying to figure out if I really like it or not.
