Vom Fass bei der Berliner Bierinsel Event im Pfefferbräu 2015-07 getrunken. Puh ein warer Schädelspälter wo der Alkohol alles dominert hat - ganz schlechte Balance. Die Aromen sind zwar in Ordnung doch bei der alkolischen Wirkung fand ich es untrinkbar und habe fast das volle Glas stehen gelassen.

From tap. Pours cloudy orange with a white head. Grassy, straw. Bitter, solid hoppy. Bitter. Solid hoppy. Dry, bitter and grassy finish.

From tap. Pours hazy brown, small tan head. Aroma is breadish and roasted malty. Sweet, toasted. Caramelish. Toasted, sweet and breadish to caramelish finish.

From tap. Pours hazy orange, off white head. Toasted and slight estery malty. Mild fruity. Light crisp sourish note. Bitter and slight herbal dry finish.

“Pfefferbräu Prenz'l Pils“, vom Faß im Pfefferbräu, Berlin. - Goldgelb, gut trüb. - Kräftig grasige aber etwas einspurige Hopfenherbe, kernige Bittere, pilsuntypisch hefiger Körper. - Für ein Pilsener fehlt es an Eleganz und Schlankheit.

Hazed deep golden color with a fine frothy head. Good lacing. Looks nice and inviting. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium body and an average carbonation level. Ok balanced sweetness and bitterness. Malty, herbal, fruity and mild citric flavor. They could have used a bit more hops here, and it would be a lot better.
