Hefiger, etwas schaler Geruch. Leicht hefiger, dann aber direkt säuerlicher Geschmack, beides wirkt aber überaus harmlos. Im Mittelteil schließt sich ein bitteres Aroma an, meine Güte, bleibt das Bier so lasch? Antwort: Ja. Wobei sich das Bier im Nachgeschmack dann doch noch etwas steigern kann, es ist hier herb und wenigstens ansprechend hefig. Das Motto des Bieres könnte lauten: "Hauptsache ein Winterbier!". Biggish creamy white head. Hazy orange body. Milky, faintly acidic wheat aroma with citric notes. Taste is wheaty caramel and citrus with a dry, spicy aftertaste. Clean, fresh. Really nice. One of the best globally distributed beers. (0.5l bottle.)

Bottle; Nose is caramelly malt, with some wheat, and lots of bananas; hazy brown with a big, glass-lacing straw-colored head; flavor is semi-sweet caramel and banana, with a tingly mouthfeel, and a mild hop note in the finish. Seems like a good session beer to me!

Bottle. Hazy light to medium brown color with a huge excellent lacing off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, banana, moderate yeasty, sweat. Flavor is heavy sweet and ligth to moderate bitter with a ling duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to lively finish is light alcoholic.

Aaahh... my seventh Erdinger. How nice. Two more and I’m done. This poured a yellow colour and a small white head. No aroma except for a vague fruity-malty hint. The taste... hmm. As usual, unimpressive, but not unpleasant. Silky smooth and kinda tasty. Some nice, low tropical fruit/bubblegum fruitiness (damn... I used almost the same expression in my notes as the rauchbier did in his rating) and faint lemon. Very faint hoppy (?) finish. A one trick pony obviously, but I think I actually like it over the regular thing. Due to its shortcomings it won’t rate higher though. Ah, well.

Oktoberfest Weizen. 12 oz bottle. Poured golden with slight orange hue. There’s a thin ring of white foam. The aroma is sweet malt, wheated malt and banana. The flavor starts with above average carbonation explosion that bursts a nice pale Munich maltiness, sweet malts, some sweet and sour lemon, a hint of banana, and then some light noble hops. Tasty and not too sweet.

(bottle) Cloudy, deep orange colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Dusty, slightly sweet, citrus-fruity (lemon peel, oranges) aroma. Light-sweet flavour, medium bodied, fizzy mouthfeel; malty taste with a moderate wheat-character, ripe citrus fruits; medium-dry, yeasty with a light bitterness and slightly fruity finish with notes of cloves in the aftertaste. Too fat to be refreshing, I wished this was a Weizenbock. This one is neither fish nor fowl.

Bottled(500ml). -The worst of 7 Erdingers that I’ve tried. Hazy orange/golden coloured, medium sized long lasting white head. Lively carbonation with dusty nose. Aroma is malty, subdued fruity and light wheaty but overall surprisingly weak brew from Erdinger.

Nice looking 0.5l bottle, drank from the Erdinger glass at a pub in ZagrebPoured a lovely hazy amber/orange on top of which perched a nice big, thick and most of all persistent white head. The nose was good too, orange peel, some maltiness and sourness. There’s the typical Erdinger lack of taste, but some nice things can be gleamed, like a fine malty sweetness and hints of apricots. The hopiness is dull and uninteresting though. It’s a bit lactic and that’s pretty much the only thing that shows that this is a "weisse". Kinda tasty, but so damn weak and dull. Erdinger sure knows how to do the presentation well... too bad their beers lack the most important component - taste.

Big beige creamy lasting head, black opaque body. Faint acidic wheaty aroma with earthy licorice notes. Taste is light earthy wheat with a bitterish chocolatey aftertaste with notes of wild berries. Decent, but a bit boring. (0.5l bottle.)
