Cask at The Golden Cross, Coventry. Clear gold with small white head. Quite a sweet bitter with caramel, bread, flora and some citric notes running through. Light to medium bodied, semi-drying. Could do with more bitterness but quite a refreshing summer cask option.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness. Pale yellow-gold colour. Aroma of drying apple juice, skin notes, some funk. Taste is quite sweet for a dry cider, a juicy light sour tang, some funk and a semi drying finish. Has a slight syrupy cloying feel in the mouth but the sparkling carbonation works well. Decent.

Leather, some roast. Brown pour with Micha head. Dark chocolate. Pretty pleasant all around, I'm surprised I've never had this one. Light bitter end. A touch of bark. Can.

500ml bottle from Lapworth Wines. Clear amber with a decent tight white head. Aroma of sweet biscuit malts and some fruitiness; ok. Taste is biscuit, caramel, zesty orange, apricot, spice, modest bitterness; quite nice. Light to medium bodied and a high carbonation which seems to work well here pushing the limited hop notes particularly spice around the palate.

Rocky off white head on a still chestnut coloured body. Malt, liquorice & spiced aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & creamy. Toffee, malt, cinnamon, aniseed & berry tastes with a fruity finish.
