Gravity Cask at Gadds Ramsgate, Thanet Easter Brewery Tour Beer Festival '24, 30/03/24. Been many a year since I last hid this on cask! Golden topped with a white crown. Nose is bitter fruit esters, grass, grains, hedgerow. Taste comprises dusty fruits, herb, stale bread, biscuit, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy enough old skool bitter ... deserves more than the 2.83 it rides on can only explain this folks rating bollocksed versions of this beer. Go festival for this one as opposed to don't give a fuck pub!!!

Half-pint, cask ale at Five Swans. Wetherspoon Beer Festival, March -24. Off-white head to a deep rustic dark body, crocheted lacing. Indeed, good looking! Inviting aromas of caramel and dark fruits. Quite similar taste of dark fruits, toffee, and caramel. Rounded malt-fruity tail. Like it. (Newcastle upon Tyne, 19.03.2024).

Cask at Picture House, Stafford. Pours a deep ruby with a small foamy cream head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma – just some vague fruity hints. In the mouth its starts off slightly sweet with a creamy texture, and flavour of spices, honey and rye malts. Some bitterness comes through later alongside hints of plums and caramel, leading to a slightly spicy finish. Not bad at all – definitely better thn I’d been led to believe.
