Description
Hogs Back Brewery was founded in 1992 in Tongham, and bought by current owner Rupert Thompson in 2012. In 2014, Hogs Back planted its own hop field on land adjacent to the brewery, bringing the traditional but near-extinct White Bine hop variety back to its Surrey home.
We’re a small family-owned brewery tucked away in the village of Tongham, in the heart of the old Surrey hop-growing region. Still an independently owned brewery, Hogs Back owe much of their success to their iconic, flagship real ale 'TEA' (Traditional English Ale) - a firm favourite of cask-conditioned real ale drinkers throughout the UK and a multi-award winning brew year-in, year-out.

Hogs Back storsäljare.

A 3 year old bottle from the brewery (also had this on cask a couple of times at the Shepherd and Flock pub on the roundabout in Farnham, Surrey). An amber/red/ruby coloured pour with a medium beige head. Sweet, boozy, fruity aroma. Tastes sweet, dark fruit/plums, spice, malty, brandy like christmas cake. A warming festive treat, lovely stuff from Hogs Back.
