Can. A light haze on this orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly soft, but then some late emerging fine minerally carbonation livens things up. Soft creamy malts, nice. The hops present very cleanly here. Soft cooling pine into fresh orange, mandarin, tangerine with mango led tropical fruits, a little papaya in there. Whispers of both pink and yellow grapefruit. Hop spice emerges late on before a crisp finish. Can't recall if I have had a Cold DIPA before, but I won't forget this one soon. So clean and bright with the hop character coming through loud and clear. Colour me impressed. Could drink this all night, or until my legs gave out.

17/12/2023. Draft at the Ampersand Brew Co Tap, Diss. Pours clear dark mahogany brown with a small creamy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, lightly roasted, chocolate, caramel, slightly perfumed and piney. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, quite fizzy. Drying finish. Thought I’d enjoy this more than I did.

Tried on tap at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2023. Golden colour with a white head. fresh light hops. And a crisp body. Note. Correction of rating. Brewer confirmed this is the standard Pulpit as hops no longer change.
