Dark brown, opaque, with a rapidly dissipating dark brown head. The aroma reveals chocolate malts, molasses, a hint of espresso, and a light fruitiness. The taste is sweet, chocolatey, roasty, and fruity acidity. Praline alcohol follows, with a hint of vanilla on the finish and a decent bitterness. It's thick, but velvety with a low carbonation. A proper beer for celebrating a birthday.

Can from Tesco, Reading. Hazy golden-amber with a large and lasting white head. Fruit salad sweets from the off; maybe the orange coloured opal fruit sweets too. Pineapple and marmalade come through, with just a light hint of mint and onion. A bit of milkshakiness (is that a word?!) is cut through by a moderate bitterness. Dangerously drinkable and excellent for a supermarket brew at this price point. I'm loving Full Circle's offerings of late.

440ml can bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Golden pale and hazy with a quickly dissipating white head. Little bit of pineapple, melon, tangerine in the aroma.taste is mostly sweet with melon coming out to the fore. Dry finish. Light body, fairly heavy carbonation. The whole thing feels a little muted to me, but it’s still delicious, so I won’t complain too loudly.

Can from Asda, Wycombe. Golden-amber with a thin white head and a moderate fizz. Tropical notes on the nose. On tasting it, there was plenty of malty Weetabix, well-balanced against lemony hops and some herbal, grassy notes. The malt gives it a good body too. With the maltiness it's more like a souped-up pub golden ale than an IPA, and for me that's a good thing - I'm bored of unbalanced hoppy brews with neutral malts. More malt and better balance please brewers! I enjoyed this one; this brewer seems to be making decent stuff even for supermarkets.

Keg at The Grove, Ouseburn. Pours hazed mid gold with white foam. Clean, with mild caramel notes. Towards medium body. Fine.

The colour is golden, opalescent, with a small, quickly dissipating head. The aroma is rich in grapefruit, with lime, some tropical fruit, peach, and delicate pine. The taste is quite bitter, with a more pronounced grapefruit albedo, as well as pine and yolk. The finish is slightly stemmy. Dry body with low to medium carbonation. Quite good.

Yellow, milky with creamy head. Aroma is gentle, sweet, soft tropical fruits, some citrus. Light body, sessional feeling, on the dry side, juicy citrus, exotic fruit salat in the background, impression of grapes and coconut, delicate grapefruit albedo bitterness. Very drinkable, refreshing beer.

Brownish-pink and cloudy with a thin, creamy-pink head. A pleasant aroma of cream, berries, and apples. However, the flavour isn't as pronounced, reminiscent of a mixed fruit squash with too much mineral water added. A slight sour note improves drinkability. Watery body with medium carbonation. Disappointing.

A cloudy gold with a perishable white head. A pleasant yet delicate flavor of fresh white bread, a distinct oat influence, a hint of pine, and then citrus and tropical fruit. Juicy and very drinkable, the alcohol is well-hidden, perhaps adding a touch of zest and a slight pine bitterness. As the name suggests, a mixed experience.

440ml can purchased from the brewery as part of their 6th birthday package. Drunk at home. The colour is a delicate gold, clear with a small loose white head. Lots of grapefruit in the aroma, with lime and gentle pine. Taste is quite bitter, lots more grapefruit hop here, also more pine, kumquat, passionfruit. Somewhat medicinal finish. Easy body with low to medium carbonation. Pretty damn good.
