Tasting session with my son, at home on 15th Nov 2020. 440ml can, BB 25th Sep 2021. Hazed golden pour, thin white topping. Hoppy with a citrus leaning in both the nose and taste, juicy and semi-sweet leading to a slightly bitter finish.

Keg from the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Dark murky gold, impenetrably hazy with a tight white head. Notes of pineapple and apricot in the aroma with notes of malt extract. The taste is reasonably bittersweet, not overly sweet like many NEIPAs, there's a bit of vegetal hop burn nearer the finish with canned pineapple in the aftertaste. Creamy body, low carbonation. It's decent.

440ml can and my first beer from Tyne & Wear. Newcastle Brown Ale, which I've tried, is no longer brewed here which is a shame. Hazy gold, small white head, plenty on retention. Aroma of lemon citrus, passionfruit, pineapple, grain. Taste is citrus lemon, light passionfruit, very fresh, good bitterness. Great body for a 4.2% ABV. They obviously haven't been shy on the oats nor the hops. Full flavoured Session IPA.
