Not bourbon, but the bourbon from Okanagan Spirits. That's not a bad whiskey - I hav e a bottle - and this is probably the first beer I've had that was aged in one of their barrels. Very dark brown. Just a thin head. Looks thick. On the nose, big molasses and the brashness of those barrels. On the palate it's lighter than expected. Still molasses, light chocolate and then a big pile of barrel. The barrel lends a lot of alcohol and some sweet, almost phenolic character. The treatment is okay with the base - the flavours go well together but it seems like a relatively thin impy and a massive treatment. If the barrel is going to be this intense, I want the base to be sticky af. Actually, re-use this barrel next year and it'll be better.

Dullish with a slight haze. Thin head. Kind of a yeasty mess with what seems like strawberry. Lactose. Strawberry Quik? Please don't make me think about strawberry quik.

Dark tan. Thin head. Pretty opaque. Looks completely different from the Enigma, even though they have the same base. So variable, this place. Not much aroma but a nice hop note on the palate. Cantaloupe and pinot gris. So not bad. The malt base is messy, though, in line with the sketchy appearance.

Just a bit of haze and a sort of dull colour. Some head. Spicy, weedy notes. On the palate it has a similar hop notes. Sweetish, with a touch of tartness at the back. But all told, not the best of the NEIPA single hops I've had here, despite the hop character itself being good.
