Hellgelbes Bier mit winzigen Schwebeteilchen. Schaum ist nicht gut. Geruch malzig, leicht säuerlich. Geschmack wässrig, leicht malzig, aber auch gering säuerlich. Kein gutes Lagerbier.

330 ml bottle and can, in Bali. ABV is 4.9%. Black colour, moderate beige head. Moderate sweetish aroma of dark malts, mild coffee, chocolate, vanilla and palm sugar. Light bodied for a stout, medium dry flavour, coffee notes, "dusty" finish.

620 ml green bottle, in Bali. ABV is 4.5%. Pale yellow colour, low white head. Typical green bottle "skunky" pale lager aroma, but not too bad. Some sweetish malty and grassy notes. The flavour is bland as expected, but not horrid. At least there is a hint of malts and hops, and it is not sugary sweet. Ice cold it may serve as a thirstquencher in the Indonesian heat.

330 ml can. Dark brown body with a medium tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and some fruit. Flavor is sweet, light roasted malt, dark chocolate and fruit, not much bitterness. Medium body and light roasted finish. OK, but not much exiting.

330 ml bottle. Pale golden with a small white head. Almost no aroma at all, some grain maybe. Not much flavor either, somehow refreshing neutral grainy with high carbonation, hint of malt and light fruity. Thin body, no aftertaste. Nothing really wrong with the exception of not tasting much at all.

Canned @ Dutch "the Good, the Bad & the Ugly" tasting. Clear yellow color, short head. Bit grassy aroma. Ah well, what do you expect from Indonesian stuff. When it’s 40 degrees Celsius, and this stuff is cold, then it’s probably one of the best things you can have.

33cl Can, bought in a random supermarket on Sumatra, Indonesia. ABV 4.9%. Clear dark reddish brown to black colour, creamy beige head. Aroma is sweet, cream, roasted malts, it’s a bit like coffee with milk and sugar with some fruitiness added. Flavour is sweet, cream, light fruity, some roasted malts, light bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Not a prime example of a stout, but still an OK and highly drinkable beer
