Bottle shared at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Black with a light brown head. Great roasty aroma of dark chocolate, bourbon, a bit of vanilla, cookies and oatmeal. Bittersweet flavor, roasty, with lots of dark chocolate, bourbon, a bit of vanilla, oatmeal and a more bitter finish, slightly alcoholic. Rather full-bodied. Very good.

Bouteille 33cl de Geers, bottled on 04/09/2013, BB 04/09/2015. Orangée-ambrée, col blanc cassé modéré. Arôme est axé sur les houblons, fruité et agrumes sur un léger rétro de grains. Pointe de notes tropicales. Palais est ici aussi centré sur un houblonné tenace, offre une note huileuse, fruité; pamplemousse avec ce côté âcre-renfermé de houblon. Citronné avec un alcool réchauffant, note verte. Côté pin et liquoreux suivi d’un malt caramel se terminant sur une point de douceur. Possible touche fumée en retrait, très subtil?

Bottle - Dark roast, bitter sweet chocolate and a bit of liquorice. Jet black with a light brown head. Burnt malts, molasses and and hoppy bitterness. The burnt/bitterness is a bit much for me.

Bottle @ Unibar, Ă…rhus. Pours dark golden with a huge creamy offwhite head. Aroma of malt, candy sugar, caramel, wood, honey, light spice, light hops. Flavor is rather sweet with malt, candy sugar, caramel, spice, some sweet dried fruit, light hops. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, light warming alcoholic finish. 141213

Flavor is rather dry with roasted malts, coffee, expresso, dark chocolate, dark fruits, and again a light note of vegetables. Bottle 330ml.Clear medium to dark amber orange colour with a large to huge, frothy, excellent lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, grass, sweet hops, fruity, funky notes. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, sweet fruit, hoppy, sweet malt, riped fruit, funky notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20131011]

Bottle thanks to Todd. Pours a dark brown color with a medium beige head. A light chocolate nose with some toffee and coffee. The flavor is licorice, some dark chocolate, caramel, some yeast. Pretty dry finish. Very good beer.
