330 ml bottle Rating from 2010.

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, fine malty fruity, hints of apricot and peach. Not very dry. Okay.

Bottle from Booths. Deep copper-amber but next to no head. Has a light malt aroma with a good character to it without being full of flavour.

330ml bottle. Clear golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cautious grainy and strawy aroma, hints of corn. Taste is rather expressionless, minimally grainy, soapy, strawy; one-dimensional, monotonous.

Bottle. Clear darkish brown with a modest beige head. Aroma of toffee, some berries, chocolate, spices, some melted plastic. Sweet toffee, chocolate, dried fruit - nothing spectacular but fine. There’s no real depth or intensity to the malt side of things (for 6.5%!) and it feels rather dead in the mouth... But then the finish is rather harsh - woody bitterness and it’s acridly astringent. Odd burnt plastic-y spices. Really wasn’t enjoying this, but got a few slices of a fatty sausage and it nearly works.
