Sampled from tap at Meibockfestival Amsterdam 2016. Clear, golden amber with a thin, creamy, tan to white head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, honey and vanilla. Sweetish-malty taste of caramel, honey and vanilla, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ W. van Schaik, Vianen. Clear dark golden with a white head. Fruity aroma with some hints of oak. Taste is medium bitter with a kind of matureness that’s greater than most Belgian blondes. Solid beer.

(Draught at Café Derat, Utrecht, 18 Feb 2016) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with peaches, citrus, grass and white bread. Malty, fruity taste with notes of peaches, citrus, bread and a sweetish finish with a balanced grassy, citric bitterness. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced for its strength. Nice one.
