Fles gekregen van Roelzie. Het is een helder amberkleurig bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van verse hop en citrus. De smaak is vol hoppig, fruitig en licht champagne achtig.

Purchased DeBierkonig, Amsterdam, March 2024. Consumed in May. Surprisngly well hopped for the style, proabably the most hop forward Abt ale I have had. Then it is sweet malt and dried fruit. Rich, thick palate. Good.

Fles 30cl thuis. Kruidig, moutig, yeasty, wat caramel, bittertonen, citrustonen, wat grainy, redelijk hoppig. (22-11-2024).

Light brown colour with thin lacy head. Very rich and manly. Lots of raisins, honey and brown bread.

Bottle at home from DeBierkonig, Amsterdam, 5th October 24. Pours a very dark brown. Aroma is raisins, dark fruits, molasses and caramel. Taste is rich, dark fruits, cake, not too sweet,,very nice

Bottle. Color: Dark copper, beige head. Aroma: Sweetish, rum, raisins. Taste: Raisins, caramel, sweetish and bit fruity Rum, subtle spicy notes. Just over medium body, below average carbonation. Boozy hints. Hints of nuts. Medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Nice one.
