Mildly hazy amber beer, small pale tan head. Palate starts smooth and has a very mild viscosity. Decent fine minerally carbonation on the back. Smooth malts, caramel and cream, quite sweet. Estery fruity kid with some ripe fruits on the back end. A little spice in the fairly light finish. Not too bad, decent amount of smooth malt here and a nice fruity back end, I'm just not that fond of esters in a barleywine.

Light brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have sweet notes of raisins, caramel and cake.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, from De Bierkoning, 20230901) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head large, white and it lasted long. Aroma had fruitiness, honey, grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, honey, malts, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste had malts, alcohols and bitterness. A decent beer with too strong boozy notes and unbalanced finish.
