Bottle at home, thanks to SHIG ....last Dutch region Rake, 19/05/22. Lightly hazed golden with a decent off white covering. Nose is dusty fruits, grains, herb, spice. Taste comprises yeast esters, light white peppery spice, clove, orange peel, grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Fine for the style.

30cl Fles van Maallust. Donker amber kleur, vuilwitte kraag. Ruikt vol, zoet, krenten, rozijnen, bruine suiker, moutig, vanille, smaak is wat minder vol, rozijnen, marmalade, moutig, donker fruit, bittere finish. Medium body. Het bier had wat voller gemogen maar is verder prima.

Nydelig barleywine. Lett syrlig. Nokså fyldig. Føles syndig (!) og har masse modnings og aldringspreg. Jeg liker den!
